BHRINGARAJA- Eclipta alba is an annual herb.The whole plant is used as antiseptic, febrifuge, tonic, deobstruent in hepatic and spleen enlargement and is emetic.

The liver is the main site of metabolism of the body and Bhringraj is used to improve metabolism due to its Deepan (appetizer) and Pachan (digestive) properties.

Bhringraj is also useful in case of indigestion, constipation, and loss of appetite. This is due to its Deepan and Pachan properties. These properties help to improve Pachak Agni (digestive fire) and help in easy digestion of food.

Bhringraj has Rasayana property which means it helps to increase immunity and vitality if used continuously for at least 3-4 months.
