Pseudarthria viscida is an ascending, much branched perennial plant with stems that become more or less woody.

  • One of the main ingredients in Dasamoolam (a category of 10 roots) – Used in pain, rheumatic problems, asthma, heart diseases, sexual problems, piles, digestive problems etc.
  • It is also included in Laghu Pancha moolam (five minor roots) – used in treatment of Urinary stones, painful micturition.
  • Decoction of the roots is given for diarrhoea and other digestive problems, rheumatic ailments, toxic bites etc.
